The Ultimate LEGO Championship is Back for its 5th Year!

Calling all young builders! Get ready for one of our favorite traditions of the year: the Ultimate LEGO Championship.

Whether you dream up towering castles, bustling cities, incredible creatures, or something the world has never seen before, this is your chance to let your imagination take the lead. Build an original LEGO creation, show off your creativity, and compete for the title of Ultimate LEGO Champion.

How It Works

August 10 – 16
Drop off your completed LEGO creation at Fantasy Island Toys. Please make sure your creation is easy to transport and no larger than 14.5" x 14.5".

August 17 – September 4
Your masterpiece will be displayed in our store windows while the community votes for their favorites.

September 4
Winners will be announced during the First Friday Fairhope Ave. event at 7 pm.

Every participant will receive a commemorative participation ribbon, and winners in each age division will take home prizes and, of course, some serious bragging rights.

Official Rules

• The competition is open to builders of all ages.
• Age categories include:
  • Ages 6 and Under
  • Ages 7–9
  • Ages 10+
  • One Overall Winner: Ultimate LEGO Champion
• Participants should build individually.
• Creations must be no larger than 14.5" x 14.5", the size of an official LEGO baseplate. If you do not use a baseplate, please transport your creation on a piece of cardboard measuring the same size.
• Parents are encouraged to cheer on their builders, but the building should be completed by the participant.
• There is no theme for the 2026 competition. Build whatever your imagination inspires.
• Entries must be original creations using only official LEGO bricks and elements. No custom or modified pieces may be used.
• Creations must be dropped off between August 10 and August 16.

Community Voting

Voting will take place August 17 through September 4 at 5:00 PM.

You can vote in two ways, and votes from all methods will be combined:

• In Store: One vote per person, per day at Fantasy Island Toys.
• Facebook: Like the individual photo of your favorite creation.

By entering, participants grant Fantasy Island Toys permission to photograph their creation and builder for display and promotional purposes.

Most importantly, the Ultimate LEGO Championship is about bringing our community together, celebrating creativity, and inspiring a lifelong love of building with LEGO. We can't wait to see what you create!
