The Ultimate Lego Championship is Back for its 4th Year! 

🎉 Calling all young builders!  Get ready for an exciting LEGO Building Competition for all ages! 

Unleash your imagination and creativity as you embark on an epic building adventure with LEGO! Whether you dream of futuristic cities, underwater creatures, or outer space, this competition is your chance to bring your wildest ideas to life!

Build individually and craft unique, original creations that will amaze LEGO enthusiasts and parents! Show off your building skills, and who knows? You might be the next Ultimate LEGO Champion in town! 🏆

🕒 The clock is ticking, and you'll have until August 9th to turn in your masterpiece.

Bragging rights await our winners in three categories, and every participant will receive a special participation ribbon to commemorate their LEGO journey! 🏅

• August 3 - 9: Submissions received by Fantasy Island Toys (please make your creation easy to transport and no bigger than 14.5" x 14.5")
• August 11 - September 5: Creations displayed in the store windows and public voting begins until 5 pm on September 5
• September 5: Winners Announced at the Fairhope Ave. First Friday Event 

📅 Mark your calendars!  for September 5th and join us at the main stage of the First Friday event on Fairhope Ave. at 7 pm to crown the winner and for a day filled with fun, friendship, and LEGO magic!

 Official Rules

• The competition is open to individuals of all ages
• A winner will be announced  for the following categories based on most votes:
1. Ages 6 and under
2. Ages 7 - 9
3. Ages 10+
4. One Overall Winner - The Ultimate Lego Champion
• Participants are encouraged to compete individually.
• The size of the design should be limited to 14.5" x 14.5", the size of a official Lego Gray Baseplate. If a baseplate is not used, please transport on cardboard measuring this size.  
• Parents are encouraged to support and cheer for their children, but not to interfere with the building process.
• The 2025 competition will not be based on any specific theme.  Participants have the ability to build how their creativity takes them. 
• Participants must use only standard LEGO bricks and elements available in official LEGO sets. No custom or modified pieces are allowed.
• All entries must be original creations.
• The judging panel consists of the voting public—that means YOU!
• Voting runs from August 11 through September 5 at 5 PM.
• You can now vote in four ways and votes for all methods will be combined.  

o   In-Store Voting: Cast one vote per day in person at Fantasy Island Toys.

o   Facebook Voting: Head to our Facebook page and like the individual photo of your favorite LEGO creation. Each photo like = one vote!

o   Instagram Voting: Check out our Instagram post featuring the entries leave a comment with the number of your favorite entry (e.g., “#4!”).

o   TikTok Voting: Watch the official LEGO contest TikTok video featuring all entries and Comment with the number of your favorite creation to cast your vote e.g., “#4!”).

·       Judging Criteria (what to consider when voting):

• Creativity & Originality – Is the idea unique or unexpected?
• Design & Detail – Does it look well thought out and well-built?
• Theme or Story – Does it tell a story or follow a fun theme?
• Overall WOW Factor – Which one grabs your attention the most?

• Participants must turn in their creations during the drop off time allotted (August 3 - 9).
• Small prizes will be awarded for age category winners and overall winner. 
• Each participant will receive a participation ribbon
• Photographs of each creation and builders will be used for documentation and for promotional purposes. 

Remember, the main goal of the Ultimate Lego Competition is to build community, encourage creativity, ingenuity and a love for building with LEGO bricks.
